BOISE, Idaho – Powerball luck has found the Gem State again, this time with a $1,000,000 winning ticket sold in south central Idaho. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one winning ticket matched all five of the first numbers from last night’s $188.9 million Powerball draw and is worth $1 million. That winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Lincoln County. The winning numbers were 06, 08, 13, 37, 40, and the Powerball was 11.
“Everyone who purchased a ticket for last night’s Powerball draw in south central Idaho should check their tickets carefully for winners,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $1 million. “
Including the million dollar winning ticket, there were 4,800 winning Powerball tickets in Idaho from last night’s draw.
The Idaho Lottery encourages everyone to sign the back of their tickets prior to presenting them for payment.
Last night’s million dollar winner has 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.
